Just spent a few blissful days on the Isles of Scilly - from an e‑bike tour around St Mary’s Island, soaking up the sandy beaches and wild nature, to sailing out to New Grimsby anchorage and visiting Tresco Island. The highlights? Stopping by Tresco Abbey Garden to admire the extraordinary plants 🪴 🌴 and the unique Valhalla ship figureheads - they’re a real eye‑catcher! We then set course for Bryher in our dinghy, where we savoured a lobster 🦞 farewell dinner whilst topping up our electric outboard (currents are very strong here 😅), strolled along the quiet island at dusk, and watched the sunset 🌅 from the deck of Lagertha ⛵️ before heading out early for a 39‑hour passage back to Arklow on the Irish coast. What a perfect blend of adventure, nature and a bit of cheeky sea‑life! 😊
